Goat Hils Glacial Terrain Loop

This is a RIDE SLOWLY route. RIDE SLOWLY is movement to travel by bicycle on gravel and rural back roads taking time to enjoy the sights and sounds of rural areas, stop frequently to observe the flora and fauna, smell the wild flowers, and listen to the birds. SLOW - not just for food anymore.

Mouse over the map and take a quick tour of the route with the pop-up comments.

If you would like the cue sheet, click on the title of this article or the map and it will go to Bikely where you can print out the map and cue sheet and take it with you.

Enjoy a slow and rejuvenating bicycle road.

Oh, when you ride and see some road grader or farm tractor tracks, don't avoid them, enjoy the gentle rumble in your hands and feet.

Carfree USA Blog: Fast Drivers = X-tra small condoms

I think this applies to bicycle riders too. The world is controlled by men who feel inadequate about their sexuality. Ride Slowly, let your mind and your heart go wild with the sensory ecstasy that awaits anyone who takes the time to forget about the destination.

SLOW - not just for food anymore!

Tour de Brookings - June 23, 2007

Tour de Brookings 21 Mile

Share your bike routes @ Bikely.com

A very nice event. Well organized and people having fun. Don't know about a count yet but about 100 I'm guessing.

Thanks to Brookings Cycling Team and the sponsors. One step on the way to a Brooking bicycling week.

We took our favorite Gravel Byway to Brookings, had breakfast at a local spot. Then cut off from the corner of 467th and 216th and returned to Volga--joining the 54 mi. riders at the corner of 464th and 216th.

For other rides check myCycling Routes under Links at the left.

Bikely - share your routes

This is kind of a cool site. A bit of Wikinomics in action.

To use the tags for searching you have to go to listofpaths and they use so many that it makes it less than ideal. But wtf this is a new site and things can always improve.

An example:

"'Bikes and naked bodies harm nobody. Car fumes and accidents kill tens of thousands every year in the UK alone and are driving us all to climate chaos.'"
